Population-based surveys, encompassing women aged 15 to 49, form the source of data in each location. Along with questions about women's background characteristics, reproductive histories, and contraceptive use, interviewers asked about any actions taken to induce menstruation when a pregnancy was suspected, detailing when, how, and where the information came from. In Nigeria, a total of 11,106 reproductively active women completed the survey; 2,738 participated in Côte d'Ivoire, and 5,832 in Rajasthan. Employing adjusted Wald tests, we evaluated the one-year incidence of menstrual regulation overall, and broken down by women's background characteristics, for each specific context, to identify significant factors. Univariate analyses were subsequently utilized to explore the distribution of menstrual regulation methods and their origins. Treatment categories were comprised of surgical interventions, medication-based abortion pills, other pharmaceutical preparations (including unknown ones), along with traditional or alternative methods. In the source categories, public facilities or public outreach programs were included, along with private facilities such as doctors, pharmacies, or chemist shops and traditional or other sources of healthcare.

The purpose of this study was to determine the elements that cause pain and restricted hand function after surgical excision of a dorsal wrist ganglion. Our study group comprised 308 patients undergoing surgery within the timeframe of September 2017 to August 2021. On the day of baseline assessment, patients completed baseline questionnaires and the patient-rated wrist/hand evaluation questionnaire, which was repeated 3 months after their surgical intervention. An enhancement in postoperative pain and hand function was observed, but the outcomes for each individual patient demonstrated a high degree of disparity. Stepwise linear regression analysis was used to determine the associations between postoperative pain and hand function, and patient, disease, and psychological variables. To contribute to the study, 97 adults with varying musical backgrounds reported their years of formal music training, the number of instruments they played, the weekly time spent practicing music, and the weekly time spent listening to music, along with their demographic information.
